Did you know that Boeing at one point pursued an A380-like aircraft called the Boeing NLA? NLA stood for “New Large Airplane” and all we know about it would almost certainly have had two full decks and that it would have been larger than the 747. In the end, Boeing decided not to build the aircraft because they wanted to focus on building new variants of the 747.
